I've checked out POR-15 and while it may be a good product it seems very difficult and expensive to use.
I have Zero Rust on my 1952 M37 which I sprayed on in 2 heavy coats (I used 2 Gallons of the stuff) this past summer. I then top coated it with one coat of Rustoleum Quick Dry Hi Gloss Vehicle Enamel and haven't seen a peep as yet of any kind of rust. The truck sits outside and the bed and flat surfaces of this rig tend to hold a good deal of the white stuff so I'll be watching to see if there's any sign this spring ... I knew Metal Man had tried it long before me and knew that he had wreckers and the like in use in the Adirondacks so I was curious to see if it was holding up.
I'll let you know what mine looks like when things thaw out here in NE Ohio.
