I can vouch for Richard. I had the good luck to visit him last weekend. He has one field with "resting" power wagons and parts. His main truck is getting ready for a garage soon as we throw up one. He has 14 or 18 leaves in his rear springs. In addition he has modified a "Ben Hur" military trailer to fit his frame with open fenders off of some military Dodge. His truck will be some heavy duty piece when he is done.
Like kids we darted from project to project looking at axles, ideas for rear bumpers, stacks of sheet metal and angle steel. You could not tell us from his son. Richard has plans for his son to inherit this truck one day. The boy is a lot younger than 16 and is already helping and interested.
The best advice is to save, save, save your money. Decide how much you want to spend on a truck and "strike while the iron is hot" when you find one. Do not hesitate or wait- it will be gone...good luck Alabama Al
