Brian, as far as a carb is concerned a carter works great with its center hung fuel bowl. All the holleys that I've used took alot of mods to get them to work in extreme off road conditions. I was always fighting the fuel slosh of the opposing bowls. I used both center and side hung floats and all the goods holley had to offer. My buddies with center hung carbs always did better.
