I was woke up to the sweet, sweet chirping sound of the Eastern Ice Auger this morning, and decided now was as good a time as any to do the refresh.
If you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing the auger its about the same as a chain saw, hey who needs an alarm clock? It's a pretty interesting piece of equipment. Gas engine sitting on top of a 4 ft auger. Makes a nice neat hole through the ice, fast!
No we won't be dedicating this forum to the ice fishermen today, even though they are good guys.
I had a winch experience yesterday. I was moving another Power Wagon rolling chassis in my yard because Rosie keep getting hung up on it. Rosie is the family dog, and we have a run set up for her, near the chassis.
I hooked the chassis to my winch, blocked my wheels and pulled the chassis out of the way of the dog run. That worked fine, but I ended up with this puddle of gear oil on the ground under the winch. Looks like its time for a new seal.
Anyone have a number for the MU2 seal?
