... I had a client come in this week who was a career diesel mechanic, owned a local diesel repair service for many years, it went broke due to the economy; and he is now an entry level prison guard at age 60 with no hope of ever having a pension - just to have a job.
Now that is just a shameful waste of a lot of experience and skill, and it's hardly the only example I have. How does it benefit society to turn a skilled man like this into a prison guard?
