my local auto parts store just turned NAPA. seemed to have breathed some new life into the shop. parts are all crap now, so it is hard to gauge napa vs others. the larger napas that get involved in carrying the heavy truck, farm and industrial lines are good. i agree, their site is crap. i prefer msc, fastenal and mcmaster carr to grainger for most items. you can find an alternative to grainger for almost anything. use the grainger catalog to find what you want and use the internet to find it elsewhere. grainger always was for the commercial buyer charging stuff to his company.
