Last weekend I bought five new Titan T-Hawk 373 NDT tires in 900x16 size for one of my trucks. I bought them from my local Titan dealer. I paid $243.00 per tire (flaps included), $60.00 for the set to be shipped from the Titan factory in Des Moines, Iowa, no sales tax, and no charge for dismounting old tires and mounting the new ones. Total - $1275.00.
Last summer, I bought five new T-hawks, and the price per tire was $33.00 less, but at that time they charged me $95.00 for shipping (again from Des Moines), $73.50 in sales tax, and no charge for dismounting and mounting. Total - $1145.00. So the price of tires has gone up, but my dealer is trying to reduce the costs for repeat customers.
This year's $243.00 price on the Titans is the same as what is listed on the Universal Tire site for the STA NDT 900x16. The price listed on the Coker Tire site for 900x16 Firestones is $248.00. I do not know if either of those includes the flap in the price. Vintage Power Wagons has listed in their on-line catalog a price of $240.00 for one STA 900x16 NDT tire and flap.
I have bought some 600x16 NDT Firestones from Coker and the shipping was higher than what I paid on the Titans. I have not asked about shipping, tax, etc. on 900x16 tires from Universal, Coker, or Vintage. My Titan dealer has treated me right on Made-In-USA tires.
Hope this helps.
