A PVC pipe frame, draped in Viscueen, spring clamped together. 'Lance' of sand blaster inserted through an open seam. Sand falls to driveway to get swept up for re-use. Dust collector cyclone picks up fine dust, ultimatly a paper filter catches the 'talcum powder'.
Works great. Looks like $40/ 600 lbs, in silica sand will do the frame, recycled twice. Third trip works fine, but is pretty dusty.
Looks like 10-12 hours with the Harbor Freight pressure pot, running on two compressors- a four HP and a two hp.
Total outlay looks like $150 for compressors, $100 for dust collector, $40 for sand, $60 for epoxy primer.
And two engine stands, for my 'rotisierie' $20 for the pair.
Gotta love that Craiglist.
