My sister lives near the small community of Ruth Alabama. The houses on either side of hers were completely destroyed and all of the decades old pecan trees that surrounded her house were uprooted. Thankfully her house only sustained minor damage, some shingles blown off the roof, but more importantly her family came through unhurt.
It's amazing that only 100 yards distance separated her from her neighbors and the outcomes were so different.
