I have vacation home in Indian Valley, Idaho. I can tell you that it is a real problem. The Elk herds in our area are being deplited. Cattlemen are losing large numbers of thier herds. Yes, they do kill for sport. The packs are growing and its a matter of time before they encounter humans. It won't be pretty. Wolve's are very intelligent and a wonderful animal, but must be control through controled harvesting practices.
