I'm no expert,but I run 4.5 qts of 15-40 Rotella T,same as in my engine.I don't think there is a 100 percent answer.If you live in Alaska,5/30 would be fine.I don't think that I would run something as heavy as 80/90 except in the hottest of weather.Like I said though,I'm no expert.
What shape was your pilot bushing/bearing in when they tore it apart? Are all of your bellhousing bolts tight?Did they check the alignment,or just put it back together?
