I believe at some point in a build, we all loose interest for a while. Its even easier after a long hard winter, poor economy and high parts prices. I suggest you push back for a few weeks and figure out just what needs to be done on your truck to be able to get her on the road. The pickup box can wait. Cowl lights can wait.
Build a flat bed for her.....if need be build a wooden flat bed. I have seen some nice functional wood flat beds here in the mts. Most of all, dont give up, dont cave in. Get a vision of what you want when done and then set a course on how to get there. If you need ideas, we are all here to help.
My M37 took 4 years to complete due to a distraction. I put it on the back burner for while, then came back hit it hard and had roll out.
