The diesel conversions are going great! The 4bt in Wagoneer #1 drives great, and the motor is done for Wagoneer #2. I may part with one of my extra diesel drivetrains if interests exists.
It is a:
1985 GM P30 16-foot body, single rear wheels.
105 hp Cummins 4bt
GM 465 4-speed manual transmission
vacuum assited power brakes w/ engine mounted vacuum pump
Complete running truck with title
This is one of two trucks we bought in 2007 from Hostess in St. Louis. I've driven the truck a couple hundred miles in that time. This truck has the better motor of those two trucks. We pulled the motor out of the other truck and have been driving it daily in a '88 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We absolutely love the conversion! It has doubled the fuel economy of the old Jeep.
I also have a SM465 transmission and married NP203 that would work with this setup for a bullet-proof 4WD conversion.
