We built the whole engine on that stand. Check out the other photos in the link.

That stand is rated for 2,000 lbs. What kind of stand do you use to rebuild diesel engines? I noted the Cummins manual uses a stand that mounts to the side of the block instead of the rear. I'll probably bolt to the side of the block when I start rebuilding the six cylinders in my basement.
