They can be had, but not readily or cheaply because they often crack. On the other hand, I have had good luck with brazing them. Brazing is stronger than cast iron. You don't have to do a beautiful job because if there's a big glob on the outside and a little bit on the inside it doesn't hurt anything. Drill out the ends of the crack, grind a bit around the crack to expose clean metal, braze it and let it cool slowly, perhaps with a piece of old fiberglass insulation over it. Heating and cooling aren't so critical as with welding because it doesn't get as hot. Have bolt the intake and exhaust together with the gasket in place and bolts torqued down to permanent level and then have the block surface of the assembly milled as one unit. It will probably be good for another 50 years.
