Next time it stalls, jump out and head for the gas cap quickly. Open it and see if you hear a HISS. If so you have a plugged vent in the gas cap. A vacuum is developed in the tank and no more fuel flows. Even if you dont hear the HISS, put the gas cap on, but dont tighten down. If this solves the problem, again the vent is plugged. Either clean the vent or get a new VENTING gas cap.
It coudl also be a colasping fuel line, crud being sucked intot he sock in the tank. You can get a gallon can for temporary fuel. Mount it up front with a short piece of fuel line to the fuel pump. If this solves your problem, you know the problem is either the fuel line, pickup in the tank or bad fuel hose. With the fuel line removed from the fuel pump, see if you can blow back to the tank. You may have to huff and puff, but you should be able to blow the gas back to the tank and then blow air in the tank.
While your mess'n with the fuel system, be sure to have a good fire extinguisher standing by. Let us know how you make out.
