Yes, forgot to add it to my list. Changed condenser and ballast resistor.
The new ballast resistor started smoking and the old points burned a hole, so that tells me it's the condenser, HOWEVER, new points, condenser and ballast resistor made zero difference... = (
That, when tied to the erratic points firing has to be a clue though!
