Get a piece of foam paading tp fill the hole. Get a piece of vinyl seat cover and cut to shape, and enough to cover the bottom of the metal 1/2 to 1 inch. Use 3M contact cement and cover arm rest an vinyl. Work vinyl over arm smoothing as you go. 10 years on mine.
