Resale is another factor. most of us end up selling at some point. free 318s are on CL regularly. there is more tech support and parts for that conversion. putting a chev in a dodge or a ford devalues the truck. and vice versa. parts are just as inexpensive and easy to find too. plus chevies smoke. ;/)
