Need Good 318 Block

My mechanic has just informed me that the 318 engine in my '47 FFPW has a cracked block since he neglected to put in anti-freeze after the complete engine rebuild. I had a 1966 318 from a one ton Dodge truck so need similar block. I keep saying I need only a block as everything else in my engine appears good and was all new stuff. My mechanic has agreed to pay for this so he's hopeful something can be found at a reasonable price.
