Can you get a conical filter like on aftermarket intake kits for newer vehicles? There may be one that will slip right over the non-aircleaner end.
You are right, tho. Not much dust around when the snow is feet deep. Glad you are getting the bugs worked out.
I like the self-solving problems the best.
