Couldn't meet the upcoming emissions,because it was to hard to make it computer controlled.
The VP 44 is a miserable example of trying to convert a rotary pump to computer control.
The "P" pump is however the best suited for the "ULSD" because of being lubricated with forced engine oil. The rotary pump is not.
