Probably impossible to find a 'TRUE' price. The Govt ordered x number for x dollars. And knowing the govt, probably other stuff was in the same contract. If you could find a Govt Contract Number for a order, then using freedom of information you might be able to find that cost for the contract. Divide that by number of units in the contract.
I bet you will have a head ache before you even get off the ground.
