Best 4x4 carb

What is the best 4x4 carb for a v8. I have a demon 4x4 carb (Same as holley truck advanger)on my 392h. It good untill the steep hills. I lowered the floats, but that did not help.I have an almost new edelbroke Q-Jet carb. Can I get some feed back? Thanks Andy
