W500 big flare fenders ended at what year??

I went down to Port A and bought some d500 fenders from a fellow sweptline 4x4er and came home with them and laid them beside my 67 powerwagon w500, they dont have that giant buldge on them like i hoped but i got them so maybe i might graft soemthing on them and save the giant vintage ones i have when i go thy to mount the 14x20 michles xls i got from Henry at Airplane tie salvage a while back, anybody know what year that giant flare ended?? I looks like these fenders are from a d500 in 1971 or 72, newer chrome logo on side, i guess d or w always had the same fenders??? Or were different fenders offered on d and w trucks??
