Bed boards

On the first series bed, does anyone recall if the bed kits supply the two side pieces (ones that go against wheel wheels) with routed edges? I have .75" of clearance between the flanges on the bed sides. With paint and coating the boards (which I believe come 13/16"), I'm going to have a problem with fit if they're not routed.
