My 52 pw runs perfect until you rech 3/4 throttle then it sputters and misses like its starving for fuel. the truck has new points,condenser, cap , rotor , coil, fuel pump- and a rebuilt carb that works perfect on another motor. The coil wires are not reversed, i have good fuel pressure and the accelerator pump is working fine. Timing is ok. I am baffled at the problem and cannot get the truck to run smoothly over 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. There are also no known vacuum leaks. Possible distributor problem?? i have no idea and am at wits end...any suggestions of what to try and do? anyone else ever had a similar problem??
