But I have seen pics of Danish PWs with what looked like a fiberglass overlay of the windshield area, then the glass retained by a rubber gasket. Like the windows on step vans, or back windows on carryalls. Air/water tight. Windshield inoperable, so wipers can be in the firewall. I call them 'ice cream truck windshields'.
