The Boys work is comming to a end on the F1. WE had a Charging system problem that was solved today. We would stand and lean on the fender and just stare at the little V8 and read the shop manuel. We would go over the items that we already check and rechecked. The boys and I would have a good conversation over that front end. After hours and the shop was quiet. The shop manuels of old actually have more info in them than todays have. It turned out to be a defective brand new voltage regulator. Just dont make stuff like days of old. She is mechanicly new and the body will be cleaned up with the old piteina saved. Good old truck back from years of storage. Jack [the old owner] will be there with my buddy on the first ride. The passenger seat will empty but he will be there. Jack was brought up fixing wagons,tractors then cars & trucks. Worked out of a Old Barn. Never got rid of anything. One of the good Guys. The Boys next project is putting my engine back in my WC51. It was fun. The Dodge Boys.
