The guy took the two halves completely apart and acid dipped them in a big homemade wooden trough lined with plastic. Primed them and bolted everything back together. Painted and treated with undercoating for some reason. I'm not too fond of the bolts, but unless I come across a better parts truck, this will be the frame for my 6x6 someday.
