There's different levels of restoration just like there's different levels of income.
That truck is grossly over restored but that said...it's the nicest restoration I've seen on this forum..according to the photos anyway.
Is it what I want? Nope. I don't like the varnished wood, the shiny frame & bumpers...the Base Coat paint looks way out of place...but that said, I bet someone will buck up.
Who are we to decide what it's worth? If someone buys it...that's the market value.
I've seen tons of backyard restorations here sell for $25Kish. To make these trucks as nice as that truck..one would need to start over from scratch.
Call Steve Fowler at PW West & ask what he'll restore one for you to this quality...why should he sell his for less?
That's my $.02...just admire it & congratulate the restorer because I haven't seen work that good here before.
You may not want to drive that truck...I sure would! It's the only thing that might take the sheen off that horrible clear coat! :) :)
