Close to the beginning

I usually do not make it this close the the beginning, but with 16.7 inches of fresh snow on the ground, and wind gusts up to 50 mph, I didn't even try to go to work this morning. Finally got out of bed late and called in to leave a message.

If the wind quits blowing and the drifts quit growing, I may get the '51 with the Good Roads plow out this afternoon. What windows we can still see out of, it looks like the drifts are about 4-feet deep at this point.
