I just got a note from one of my suppliers that most of my copper products for HVAC and Electrical will be going up between 7 and 22% by Feb. Usually this relates to higher scrap prices. Seems like every time I am at the yard lately someone is scrapping some old cars or parts. A guy was scrappin a bunch of stuff from the 30s and early 40s the other day. He said the price was better to scrap it than sit around trying to find a buyer.
