How to add frame to W300 for 9 foot bed??

Has anybody added frame to a w300 that did not have the 9 foot frame needed for the 9 foot utline bed?? Do you have a write up of it with pictures, how did the factory do the frame lengthening??? I am thinking about a crewcab i found for sale which has to short of a box on it, aka 6 foot box which my mule rack wont fit.... Does anybody have a W300 crewcab project with enuff room for a 8 foot utline bed??? Looking to buy or trade, have a 44 gooseneck 2 crewcab hauler beefed up got from Paul Cook that has made road worthy and is inspected, licenced, new paint and tires with a winch for dead trucks if your by your self, cssh $6500
