Satellite photos don't show much there. Only neighbors are the Forest Service. If I owned the whole valley, it would actually be easier to come down from the top since the valley is steepest near the bottom, but these days the Forest Service frowns on people building cat trails through their woods without permission (which they won't give you). Besides, part of the idea is to have a little old-fashioned cabin, like the trappers, miners, and sheep herders used to build, in a place where nobody can drive to. If I had a road up to it, I'd go over some time and find a bunch of ATVers had been using it as a party house.
