I have had a '74 Ramcharger with a hopped up 318 and I presently have an '87 1/2 ton Dodge with a Cummins turbo diesel, both with the 727 automatic. This is a good, strong unit that can be built to withstand hemi power. I put over 185,000 miles on the Ramcharger and have over 100,000 miles on the '87 with no problems with either one. Proper servicing is a must for longevity, just like taking care of your engine.
