I have a 1940 model VD-15 (3/4 ton) Dodge that has the larger (251 or 265) flathead six with a Clark 5 speed. It is not stock, but it fits like it was made for the truck. I believe that the engine and transmission are stock transplants from a larger truck, probably 1 1/2 ton or larger. I haven't checked to see if the Clark is an overdrive. I will try to get the engine code to see what size the engine is and maybe I can find some information on the Clark.
