Well I know one thing. My truck had an auto in it but it the shifter was cut off, a hole put in the floor and a new transmition put in. Guess what its easy and cheaper to fix than an auto. It is not that hard to use once you get used to it. All I can recommend is replace the auto collum for a streight shaft.
