Bearing clearance on 1T rear full floater

What is the bearing clearance on 1T rear full floater ? Can't find any spec. I assume you set it up similar to a front wheel bearing, ie preload to n pounds, than back off the adjuster till you have n thousands clearance measured with a dial indicator. TIA
