Just went through that this fall, but with a 63 W-300 and the poly 318. Does your motor mount from the front? Mine was a saddle type casting that surrounded the water pump, so it did mount from the front. What side does your water pump exit from? What side is your radiator bottom intake at? (Determines which water pump to use) What alternator are you currently using? What kind of voltage regulator? (Could mean some re-wiring) The flywheel flange may be a different depth (Helitool has the answer for this). Over all, one of the most satisfying decisions I made..
