Calling the Experts

I'm wondering what the motor in my '41 1/2 ton is out of. It reads as follows on the ID pad on the block: M230*83500*

I been told the code normally starts with T,D, or P. I've never seen this code before, does anyone out there have an idea? Thanks for any input, Kevin
