If you have an electrical test unit, plug into the wire going to the tank. Ohms s/b be 0-240, 0 when the tank is full, 240 when empty. If you know how much gas you have in the tank, and if the sending unit is working, you should get a reading appropriate to the gas amount. If no reading, plug into the "+" side to by-pass the gauge. Let us know what you find.
