refilling tranny fluid

Ok, how do you experienced guys to it? I had the '65 WM300 in the garage...changed the oil, plugs, plug wires...wanted to change the tranny fluid but couldn't figure out how to refill it. I know where the refill plug is on the passenger side of the tranny, but I don't see any room to put a funnel, cannister, etc...what's the key to refilling the tranny?

Took the truck for a ride after the tune up...it ran beautiful! Kept up with traffic in the backroads and even got it going 50mph for a few secs! Got me so excited I ended up working on her the whole day!!! :) Guy(NH)
