vaccuum distributor for 230?

I found a couple of vac. distributors that look like they may work for a 230 but I'm not sure. The chrysler tag on the side says part #1343554 splash proof distributor. then the numbers below are IAT-4011, then, 5G142270 made by auto-lite Toledo, O. Does anyone have any expirence with these dist.'s? All my 230's have the mechanical dist. with counter weights. This is the first vac. I have seen for a 230(?) application. Is it better to upgrade to a vaccuum dist.?
