Chrysler does sell new short & long blocks, but they are 360's. Same thing, just more torque. But you would be better off buying one from a parts store, tearing it down, checking clearances, putting it back together the right way.
You need to do the same with the mopar crate engines, but the chain store prices will be a lot less. Chrysler's QC on their crate engines is VERY POOR! I know of one Magnum crate that only lasted 300 miles of highway driving! Really!
If you want easy, change your gear ratios in your current set-up (maybe shorter tires?). A 4bbl /6 should have plenty of power! Will it win a drag race? Probably not! Is it different enough to make people wonder? YUP! ;-)
