drove to friend's farm this morning to cut wood. ground is frozen solid, and has an inch or two dry powdery snow... no problem
wood truck is a '49 "F***" two ton two wheel drive, 4 speed/2 speed flat eight. can put a cord and a half in dump bed without much difficulty. truck is wearing 900x20 nondirectionals on the back. could not even get into barn lot,, tires spun on center rib, just "buffed" the snow into ice !!
i remember why i replaced the 900x16 NDs with buckshot mudders on my m-37!!may take it wood cutting later...
