Two front grille sizes on FFPW. Why is it? Not a 230/251 que

I've noticed the front grille on PW's with winches have 2 different lengths. One has 2 sections that ends at the front fender line and the other extends down (a 3rd section) down behind the winch. Why the 2 different lengths?
