Back when I was super active, I left tracks in places nobody ever was before, and nobody been since. All with the stock open diff.
In 1974, in the mud, we chained our trucks together, and had a pull-off. The other truck was a Chevy 3/4t, small block, with friction clutch type locker in the rear. That ole wore out 230 dragged him anywhere I wanted. 41, 1/2t, single speed t/c.
He buys a new Chevy every 35 years, whether he needs it or not. ;^) That's his new truck in my pics of bring the stretched carryall home. We were joking about his /74 on the drive home, calling it the 'sinker'. Not worth a crap in the mud.
Hmmm, maybe I'll put a slant six in the stretched carryall? I don't want to go too far...
