Eugenia is that hedge stuff that makes a olive-to strowberry sized purple berry.
It was obviously a 'volunteer', nobody would have planted it there between two garages. But it grew straight and tall, seeking the sunshine. Huge, for hedge, a full 8" diameter. Wood was reminiscent of Zebrawood when green. Cream and dark rings, I hope they don't fade as it dries.
