If lubed properly, no water got in case) they hold up exceptionally well. Unless a PTO has been run to death, I agree they will probably have little use. Rebuilding (bearings and seals) is a snap. When installed, the proper gaskets (shims) must be used for proper gear mesh. Look on my Image Event for set up of a Chelsea 352 PTO. The procedure is quite basic and should also apply to a quite well to PW/M37 and WC PTO's
